Selection Principle Of Injection Mold Ejector Pin

After the product has completed a molding cycle, the mold is opened, and the product is wrapped around one side of the mold and must be removed from the mold. This work must be done by the ejector system, which is an important part of the entire mold structure. Generally, it consists of three parts: ejection, reset, and ejection guide. Plastic mold ejector pin, used in plastic molds. The ejector pin can also be called a push rod, an inserted needle, a middle needle, a support needle, etc., and the mold ejector pin is easy to break and is not durable, so as to avoid the occurrence of these problems. Pay attention to the following points in the process of using the ejector pin, so that the production can be multiplied with half the effort, and the work efficiency can be guaranteed.

When choosing a thimble, it is reasonable to choose a thimble with a larger diameter. That is, when there is enough ejection position, the ejector pin with a larger diameter and size should be selected.

The specifications of the thimble should be selected as little as possible. When choosing a thimble, the size of the thimble should be adjusted to minimize the size specifications, and at the same time try to choose the preferred size series.

The selected thimble should meet the ejection strength requirements. When the ejector pin is ejected, the ejector pin needs to bear large pressure. In order to avoid the bending and deformation of the small ejector pin, when the ejector pin diameter is less than 2.5mm, the ejector pin with support should be selected.
