     The "guide column" in the mold is also called the "guide column", and its function is to guide. The function of the guide device of the mold is to guide the upper mold and the lower mold to match the correct position. The most common guide device is the guide post guide bush. In addition, the large die may be provided with guide plates, and the micro die may be provided with guide tubes, which have the same function as guide posts and guide sleeves.

    The material of the guide post is generally made of bearing steel, hot work dies steel, easy-carriage iron, etc., and the use of bearing steel SUJ2 is large, which greatly enhances the durability and replaceability of the guide post in terms of guiding performance. The guide post and the assembly form the outer guide post assembly and the inner guide post assembly, which have a beautiful metallic luster.

    The roundness of the guide post has high requirements, and the center hole is mainly used to grind the outer diameter with a cylindrical grinder because when using a cylindrical grinder to grind the outer diameter, the center hole must be pressed against the center hole to make the guide post rotate. 

    The angle of the inclined guide column of the mold generally adopts two inclination angles of 20 degrees or 25 degrees. Generally, the 20-degree angle is used. If the distance of the slider is a little long, the 25-degree angle can be used. For longer distances, hydraulic or pneumatic methods are used.
