Design Attention Of Ejection System Of Injection Mold

The ejection forms of injection molded products can be classified into three categories: mechanical ejection, hydraulic ejection, and pneumatic ejection. In mechanical ejection, there are ejector pin ejection, top plate ejection, oblique pin ejection, ejector block ejection, and compound ejection.

Product ejection is the last link in the injection molding process, and the quality of the ejection will ultimately determine the quality of the product. Therefore, the ejection problem of the product cannot be ignored.

When designing the ejector system, in order to make the finished product better, it is necessary to pay attention to the following points:

1、In order to prevent the product from being deformed due to demoulding, the thrust point should be as close as possible to the core or the part that is difficult to demould. For example, the slender hollow cylinders on the product are mostly ejected by the jacking pipe, and the arrangement of thrust points should be as uniform as possible.

2、The thrust point should act on the part where the product can withstand the maximum force, that is, the part with better rigidity, such as reinforcing ribs, flanging, and the wall edge of shell-shaped products.

3、Try to avoid the thrust point acting on the thin surface of the product to prevent the product from breaking and perforating, such as shell-shaped products and cylindrical products, which are mostly ejected by the push plate.

4、In order to prevent the ejection marks from affecting the appearance of the product, the ejection device should be located on the hidden surface or non-decorative surface of the product. For transparent products, special attention should be paid to the choice of ejection position and ejection form.
